Netomnia, backed by Soho Square Capital, has been named the Leading Large Company in Wales and the South West at the UK Private Capital Vision 2026: Leaders Driving Growth Awards, recognising it as one of the standout private capital-backed growth stories of 2025.
Since its founding, Netomnia has grown from a challenger altnet into the UK's second largest alternative network provider, reaching over three million serviceable premises and more than 500,000 customers. The Vision 2026 judges recognised the scale, pace, and sustainability of that growth, alongside the business's competitive position in the rapidly evolving UK fibre market.
Jeremy Chelot, Group CEO of Netomnia and YouFibre, said:
"Reaching over three million premises serviceable and more than 500,000 customers is a milestone we are truly proud of, and none of it would have been possible without Soho Square Capital and our investors, whose trust and support from the very beginning have been fundamental to everything we have achieved. Most of all, we are grateful to the team and partners who make this mission real."
Walid Fakhry, Co-Managing Partner at Soho Square Capital, commented:
"At Soho Square Capital, we back exceptional entrepreneurs, and Jeremy is a prime example. We were proud to be his original backers, partnering with him and his management team from the very beginning. Our structure is designed to enable founders and management teams to retain and maximise value as they build great businesses, and Jeremy and his team have seized that opportunity.
"They set themselves an extraordinarily ambitious growth plan, executed relentlessly, and built Netomnia into the UK's second largest alternative fibre provider. This award is first and foremost a reflection of what Jeremy and his team have achieved, and we are delighted to see that recognised."
The UK Private Capital Vision 2026 celebrates the best teams of 2025 backed by private capital, awarding portfolio companies and their investors.
