Jess works within Soho Square’s value creation team, supporting portfolio companies on their growth and performance. Prior to Soho Square, Jess spent nine years at Deloitte, most recently as an Associate Director in the transaction services team, specialising in financial services. She advised on a number of notable transactions, including financial due diligence for NatWest Group plc on its acquisition of Evelyn Partners, the merger of Mattioli Woods and Kingswood, and vendor due diligence on the sale of Hayfin Capital Management LLP. She began her career at Deloitte South Africa and also spent time in Deloitte’s New York audit practice.
Jess has a BCom in Accounting Science (Honours) from the University of Pretoria and is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
