Kelway was a fast-growing technology services and solutions provider, focussed on the mid-market. Its supply chain encompassed both the public and private sector across 130 countries.
Soho Square invested into senior secured loan notes and secured a 25% minority stake.  Soho Square supported Kelway with several acquisitions and helped improve and formalise the internal M&A function. From being a pure value-added reseller, we helped guide the business into a more managed services strategy. This along with significant Soho Square led improvements into FP&A helped deliver revenue growth from £50m to £550m, and EBITDA from £2m to £35m during the investment period.
Kelway was sold to CDW Corporation and Soho Square delivered a 9x+ return for investors.

"We were very glad to have been part of the Kelway journey. The company has developed into a leading UK player and we believe that the platform it has built can scale further. CDW’s support and involvement in the transaction validates our growth driven approach as well as ensures that management have the right partner to pursue further global expansion."
